I’m Steven, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I have 7+ years of experience working with all ages of clientele, ranging from ages 12-75. I’ve always had a passion for helping others work toward their goals and I've found that people can get stuck into a rut of "just surviving life" and not living it for a variety of reasons. My goal in being a therapist (and in life) is to help restore the "Joy of Living" back to my clients in a variety of ways within the therapeutic process.
On a personal note, I'm 36 years old, got married in 2020, and have two very needy, but lovely cats within my household. I'm a pretty big geek (board games, video games, fantasy sports, etc....) and pretty competitive. I like to give my best in anything that I invest into and that philosophy goes for my Professional relationships as well.
It's always awkward to talk about your greatest strengths. I would say generally that clients have given feedback on my ability to be authentic, to be flexible in my approach, and being transparent in stating my strategy of how I think I can best help them in reaching their goals.
