As a clinical psychologist serving Plant City, Lakeland, Valrico, and Brandon, I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress, marriage conflict, parent-child difficulties, and "Where is my life headed?" sorts of issues. So in the world of mental health clinicians, I'm a sort of "primary care" psychologist, treating all sorts of issues and referring out to specialists if needed.
I particularly enjoy helping men and women overcome the effects of trauma and in helping people of faith who have been spiritually exploited by in some manner. Healing and new learning are possible, given the right environment and relationship.
I am committed to therapy as a collaborative endeavor, believing that clients have the best understanding of themselves. My job is to help them discover their best path and to facilitate those natural healing processes which I believe the Creator has placed within every person. I also have training in Ericksonian hypnosis if clients are interested.
