I work with individuals, adolescents and adults, who want or need to find their own path to inner peace and harmony without the use of alcohol or drugs, or the use of rage or isolation, or the creation of chaos as a distraction; people who wrestle with the parts of themselves that keep getting in their way. I also work with families who are confused how best to help a loved one who is abusing alcohol and other drugs.
I have worked for 23 years as a psychotherapist and addictions counselor. and have conducted about 3000 substance use evaluations for local courts and attorneys. I have also conducted alcohol and drug interventions. I work with clients to develop methods of self-soothing that are not dependent on any substance or dysfunctional behavior.
I help clients identify and deconstruct barriers to inner peace and harmony, such as alcohol and/or drug dependencies, depression and/or anxiety disorders, co-dependent relationships, or feelings there is nothing left but darkness. I work with clients to reach a place of trust below the surface where they can find their light
