Hello, I'm Steven Buchheit I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience dedicated to guiding people toward healing and personal growth. My ideal client is someone who is motivated to heal and desires to cultivate presence in their life. I enjoy working with individuals & couples seeking to deepen self-awareness and enhance relationships, both with themselves & others. Through a compassionate somatic approach I seek to help my clients find a deep sense of connection. People of all genders and sexual orientations are welcome.
I offer a somatic-focused EMDR approach called Natural Processing that helps people find presence and work with their nervous system to support deep healing. I integrate this with Internal Family Systems, Deep Brain Reorienting, and the Safe & Sound Protocol. This approach is helpful for the majority of struggles that bring people to therapy.
I understand how tough this can be, and I’m here to support you. Together, we can gently navigate through your challenges and find a path to healing. ? Healing Together: A Virtual Group for Women ? Mondays | 6:30–8:00 PM CST | 90 minutes | $50/session | Private Pay This open psychotherapy group has been running for 10 years and supports women healing from trauma and attachment wounds through a somatic, body-based lens. Sessions focus on nervous system regulation, parts work, and present-moment awareness, with space to explore personal history, family dynamics, and related struggles. Each 90-minute session offers embodied emotional processing, relational support, and grounding practices—all within a safe, compassionate community for deep healing.
