I have been helping people make positive changes in their life since 1986. I work in a collaborative style that begins with creating a supportive therapeutic relationship. People need to feel safe in my office in order to make successful life changes. I don't rush the change process but act as a facilitator of personal growth.
I emphasize evidence-based treatments in working with addiction clients. Most people with substance abuse issues have co-existing mental health concerns like depression and anxiety as well as family problems. All of these concerns need attention in order to have a successful recovery. Its important to work with the entire person.
My treatment motto is helping people live a life of balance, self-acceptance and self-awareness.
