As a therapist I focus mainly on marriage and couples counseling. I enjoy helping couples improve communication, increase conflict resolution and deepen their connection. I aim to provide a safe and confidential place to unpack struggles and give specific strategies and tools for improving the lives and relationships of my clients. I have seen first had the effectiveness of counseling and believe it is a great avenue where healthy changes can be made. I am a level 3 trained Gottman Method therapist, which is a evidence based, research oriented approach to couples work.
I also work with individual clients who would like to address issues of depression, anxiety, emotion regulation struggles, burnout, difficulties managing stress and struggles with spirituality. My approach is twofold 1. Addressing meaning and the deeper questions of life, and 2. mindfulness based cognitive therapy, focusing on practical tangible skills.
