Are you a neurodivergent person or have a child/children needing help? Did you grow up with family members with mental illness? Relationship issues? Would you like to use an amazing modern technique called Brain Spotting to heal from your trauma? These all fall within my specialty, as does helping those with Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression. I meet people where they are and adapt to their needs. My patients range in age from 5 to 85, and describe me as kind, funny, and knowledgeable.

Through a combination of CBT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic awareness, brainpotting, and more; you can begin to flourish into the person you want to be. Over time, you can change the way you think and feel about yourself and the world. You can learn to focus on the present moment and let go of negative judgments and thoughts.

I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, or trauma related to their family, relationships, grief, or daily life issues. During my initial sessions, we will collaborate to create a plan for addressing the issues that are most pressing to you. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.

I often use cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you progress. With CBT, we'll look at how thoughts affect your feelings and actions. With DBT, we will learn skills to help you regulate through distressing situations.

You will learn to be more mindful by living for today. You will also learn skills to help you when living in high emotional distress and learn ways to calm yourself quickly. Lastly, we discuss Interpersonal effectiveness, in other words, I teach you how to effectively maintain healthy relationships while setting boundaries.
