I see myself as like a "babysitter of hearts..." and I want you to feel comfortable sharing your heart with me. I do my best to co-create with you a space you can call yours and use for your growth, development, and elevation. My ideal clients are fun, introspective-leaning, and flexible.
My approach is a mixture of relational, creative/expressive arts, narrative, and phenomenological (don't worry if you're not familiar with these...). My approach can be slow and explorative. Pure behavior change is not my specialty, but it is a hopeful byproduct of our work together.
I am pretty down-to-earth. I try to reserve my professional jargon for my industry (i.e., the managed care system, other professionals); I try to make mental health/psychological functioning tangible and accessible in language and in practice.
