I’ve worked in many colorful and exciting fields and alongside many incredible people, both clients and teammates: I most recently served as a counselor with the state's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. I've practiced within the community (Madison, WI) as a case manager and a forensic mental health counselor for approximately 4 years - helping folks that had severe and persistent mental illnesses navigate their wellness and the courts. Since then, I have worked with a very broad range of clients. The most important aspect of any client-provider relationship is rapport, and above all, that is the metric that is paramount to me.
My style and substance are client-centered and very heavily influenced by Rogerian or humanistic psychology, but I also strongly believe in maintaining rationalism about what may be going on in someone's life and being 100% honest with all of my people.
