I have over 12 years of experience providing mental health care to a wide variety of populations, from children to adults. I use an array of different psychotherapy approaches, specific techniques, and interventions, from modalities like CBT and CBT for insomnia, ACT, EMDR, CPT, solution focused therapy, DBT, and motivational interviewing. I also utilize the corrective, healing power of the interpersonal process in psychotherapy. I enjoy getting to know my clients and finding a style and approach that works best for their needs during our time together in the therapeutic relationship.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in TX, LA, OK, NM, and VT and supervisor for social work in TX and VT. I am also a medical anthropologist. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degrees in social work, psychology, and applied anthropology. I completed my education with a PhD in anthropology (sociocultural and medical emphases).
