I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, and my primary focus is in couples counseling; via Emotional Focused Therapy. I am employed at the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe. For my private practice, I am located in Las Vegas and only available by tele-health video. I only accept a small number of couples; approximately 8 couples in total. I currently have openings during the weekdays at 6pm and weekends from 10am to 1pm.
Steven is Emotionally Focused and Gottman trained. He also has formal training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Anger Management, and trauma informed therapy.
Steven's diverse training allows him to meet each person’s unique needs. Steven believes clients are the experts of their own lives, and his focus is to explore issues and help discover and develop solutions to daily life. On the initial visit, the focus will be on understanding the issue(s) at hand and discussing the direction forward.
