Licensed Professional Counselor, MEd, LPC
I am a Clinician at the Anxiety Institute, a specialized out-patient anxiety treatment program serving youth between the ages of 13 and 25. Located in Greenwich, Connecticut, our 6,000-square foot campus has been customized to deliver the most cutting-edge, diagnostic specific interventions for (1) Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Social Anxiety; (2) OCD with and without Body-Focused Repetitive Behavior; and (3) General Anxiety Disorders, Perfectionism, Atychiphobia (fear of failure) with self-sabotaging behaviors such as social avoidance and school refusal. Our singular goal is to free clients from disabling anxiety, by directly addressing emotional, behavioral, and physical symptoms.
Anxiety is a bully that tricks us into short-changing ourselves, blinding us to the fullness of daily life. We all have a relationship with anxiety; we need it to survive, but sometimes it starts to limit and control versus protect and serve. When this happens, it's time to seek help.
I have extensive experience in school counseling, private practice and residential programs helping youth understand anxiety and manage their fears. I combine the art of therapy (radical genuineness, intuition, emotional chemistry) with the science of therapy (evidenced based treatments from CBT, ERP, VR, DBT, and EMDR) to provide lasting recovery.
