About
Everyone at different points in life experiences difficult circumstances and issues that cause stress, anxiety, sadness, grief, anger, confusion, and other responses that impact the quality of our lives and relationships. My goal is to create a safe and accepting context for clients to discuss their struggles and specific problems, heal from psychological, social, and spiritual injury, and develop effective methods for coping with life’s challenges. Please feel free to contact me if you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, recent loss or trauma, work-related issues, relationship problems, or spiritual abuse.
My approach is to integrate positive psychology methods (narrative & solution-focused), more "traditional" therapies (cognitive-behavioral), with innovative mind-body strategies (hypnotherapy & brainspotting). My work is frequently with clients that identify as more moderate or "progressive" Christians more so than "conservative" or "evangelical".
My hope is to first build rapport and trust and then help clients understand, navigate, and tailor solutions to their specific problems. In addition to psychotherapy, I have expertise in assessing and coaching individuals who are struggling with performance in their professional, academic, or athletic roles.
