For 13 years I have been working in a variety of therapeutic, medical and educational settings to provide the care that individuals need to work through life's difficult moments. With a strong background in medical social work, I provide healthcare counseling for those affected by chronic pain, long term illness and disease, new medical diagnosis, sleep disorders, grief/loss, anxiety, and depression. I base treatment off of current research and science based approaches to healing, and work closely with the other health care providers on an individual's team to help providers better understand the complex relationship between mental and physical health.
I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults. I meet clients where they are at and skillfully and creatively use an integrated approach to therapy that will be most effective for an individual.
I strive to be both compassionate and to use a client's time as efficiently and effectively as possible. Clients over the years have described me as passionate, knowledgeable, caring, curious, energetic, and fun.
