I work closely with members of the LBGTQ+ community. I build collaborative, working relationships with my clients. I primarily use CBT in conjunction with other solution focused strategies proven to be effective. I ultimately help each client to position themself to be in the driver’s seat of their life.
It can be intimidating & scary to initiate therapy, especially for those from marginalized communities. I offer each client a safe, affirmative space. I help clients develop insight and implement concrete and usable skills that can applied to present and future circumstances.
