I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). My desire to help others build strong, resilient families came from my own experiences as a husband, father of six and soldier. During my twenty years in the Army, I deployed 6 times and as a result I had to learn how to navigate life's transitions, manage stress and anxiety, overcome trauma and all the while leading my family through it. My desire is to help others do the same by providing a safe place to work through and overcome their challenges in life.
I work with individuals, couples, and families. I offer Christian counseling as well as counseling for those with no faith background. I work with the following to name a few; trauma, stress/anger management, parenting, life transitions, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, communication, trust, infidelity, conflict resolution, and forgiveness.
Additionally, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) that has training in EMDR, Narrative Exposure Therapy, as well as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am able to provide morning, afternoon and evening appointments Monday through Friday. I am a AAMFT Supervisor Candidate with immediate openings for those in need of supervision.
