I do individual psychotherapy and couples counseling. People struggle within themselves and their relationships. Sometimes people feel lost and need to talk with someone who can relate to your emotional world. Our work together will encompass working through new and old wounds and negative mindsets in a safe and professional manner. In working with couples the goal is to understand and trust each other again.
I have a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and 2 State of Florida licenses. I have had my own personal psychoanalysis which provides a deeper understanding and ability to help you. Clinical experience is also invaluable.
I do individual psychotherapy to help work through old emotional wounds. I do couples' therapy to help couples communicate more effectively, reinforce listening skills and empathy so they can be an emotionally competent couple. I also treat people on the spectrum individually and neurodiverse couples as well.
Therapy is serious work and initially understanding you and where you are at is imperative. I actively help you to therapeutically feel better. Whether individual or couples therapy the techniques of therapy will help to work through the negative influences, erroneous narratives, and faulty communication patterns that causes you concern and worry.
