The variety of mental health concerns and problems are as vast and diverse as any other category of medical concern. This is why | approach every client with a compassion and skill to help each individual or couple specific to their needs, not to their diagnosis. Having worked in counseling and inpatient psychiatry for over 10 years I have worked with the entire spectrum of mental illness and feel confident in my ability to approach individuals and couples with support, tools, and intellect to work through any concern.
I specialize in working with adults, older adults, and couples. My preferred modality is centered in Existential Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but I am confident in incorporating skills and techniques from most evidence based practice modalities.
