About
I work with individuals navigating a wide range of mental health issues. In addition, I also specializes in sexual health, sexual education, and sexual dysfunction. As a sex positive counselor who believes that sexuality should be a normal part of conversation I encourage and facilitate healthy dialogue surrounding taboo topics. I work with individuals, families, and couples (both in non-monogamous and polygamous relationships). I am a member of AASECT (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists).
Sex can be hard to talk about. And that is true whether you are from a conservative or broad-minded, open or closed background. It is my hope that everyone feels comfortable sharing and talking in the counseling space. My sessions are open to everyone from every walk of life.
I introduce sessions by suggesting that counseling should be an interactive and compassionate space to explore various life issues. It is not easy reaching out and I recognize the courage it takes to set up a counseling session. I currently only provide phone and virtual sessions. If you have questions, don't be afraid to reach out and ask.
