About
Do you feel stressed and overwhelmed by feelings and events that you feel are out of your control? These feelings of powerlessness and vulnerability can lead to anxiety and depression and can influence your life and relationships . I believe that people are looking for a therapist who is knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful in solving their problems. In my 25 years as a licensed psychotherapist I have committed myself to helping clients to understand themselves and create the lives they desire.
My specialty is treating depression ,anxiety and trauma in adults and children. I have experience and expertise helping clients with domestic violence issues , anger management and PTSD issues. I treat children who are "acting out" and work with their parents to make real and lasting changes. I have had over 20 years experience treating children .
I believe that therapy should not be an endless process. I believe that counseling should have identifiable and realistic goals and that clients need to determine the course of their own treatment. I strive to be honest and genuine. .
