I believe that therapy is a collaboration to help you gain insight. I love to hear your stories. They inspire me. I'm amazed at the strength and survival skills of my clients. I believe that therapy should be a good experience, but sometimes reality means we'll first have to revisit the pain in order to heal. Hopefully we can do that together from a safe and secure place. I also believe that we can build a life we love.
I feel my job is to help you with insight and process. Insight (awareness) can be just another perspective or connecting the dots of experience. Process is unique to you but involves ways to change that ideally involve your strengths and interests. I have experience with trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, and loneliness.
