My commitment is to help you feel better and learn ways to change problematic patterns within the first few sessions. I combine different methods (talk therapy, hypnosis, EMDR and Somatic Experiencing) to help people make positive changes in their lives. I have 30+ years experience, with specialization in relationship problems, sexuality issues, and recovery from childhood and adult trauma. My approach is highly interactive. Sessions involve feedback and teaching of methods and skills to help you get your life back on track.

Although I help clients with many different problems, my 5 main areas of expertise are: couple therapy, sex addiction, LGBTQ clients, recovery from trauma and problem gambling. I have not only helped many clients make changes in these life situations, I've also educated and trained other mental health professionals in these areas.

My experience has been that clients want more than just to talk about their problems. They want tools and methods to make and sustain changes outside of the sessions. EMDR, Somatic Experiencing and Hypnosis are all designed to help people move quickly out of stuck and blocked places.

Using a sexual health model, the group provides education and deeper understanding of sexuality, tools for change, and mutual support and sharing.
