For several years I have worked as a mental health specialist for youth in school systems, medical facilities, and residential treatment programs.
My passion revolves around providing young people a space to be themselves, share their thoughts and ideas, and work through the issues that matter most to them. When I meet with young people, I want them to steer the conversation. Ultimately, you know your situation better than I do.
In session, I utilize various therapeutic elements from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing with a foundation in Mentalization.
