Now accepting new clients. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 30 years experience working with a variety of individuals in the Charlottesville area. My approach is to work with a client and their internal world, their thoughts and feelings, and help to resolve internal and external conflicts. We all at times can get stuck in patterns of behavior or relationships that we want to make better, and with an insight-oriented approach I work to help individuals make that happen.
I use principles from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and psychodynamic approaches in working with clients; I am a Level 1 trained IFS therapist. I am currently working with adults and adolescents.
I do not accept insurance, but employ a bookkeeper who will file claims for anyone who would like her to.
