I have been a psychologist for 30+ years during which time I have provided psychotherapy primarily to gay male professionals and students. I have longstanding and ongoing clinical, research and teaching experience relevant to the many developmental issues which confront gay men across the lifespan including coming out, depression, anxiety, relationship and intimacy issues, career challenges, substance abuse, sexual behavior, HIV/AIDS and successful aging .
I offer both remote and in person psychotherapy for a range of clinical issues. I am an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine at Boston University where I teach a number of courses related to mental health and well being.
I am eager to work with a range of issues germane to the lived experiences of gay men across the lifespan. These issues include coming out, establishing and thriving in intimate relationships, career development and successful aging.
