I specialize in treating the effects of religious trauma and complications resulting from exiting out of high control groups. I understand the complexity of issues that arise when a person is deconstructing their views on reality. I'm here to provide you with support, a safe space to explore your thoughts, and tools for coping with related anxiety. I work with clients to empower their own sense of divinity and the use of empathy as a moral guide. I am comfortable exploring existential issues and will not push any religious beliefs on you.
As a systemically oriented therapist, I will help you process and navigate family or relational complications that may arise as you exit out or deconstruct. I understand that some people may face rejection from their primary support system when they leave their faith, causing isolation and social stress. Interfaith couples face unique challenges as well.
I have experience and training treating concerns such as religious trauma syndrome, mood d/o, attachment d/o, and anxiety. I see clients of all ages, including children, adults, and couples.
