I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and I am very client-centered in my approach to therapy and want to develop an atmosphere where the client and I can build a good rapport to ensure they feel comfortable and know that I am walking alongside them in their journey to healing, peace, and happiness. I work with all different mental health issues and specialize in Trauma Therapy.
I utilize trauma-informed therapy, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, emotion-focused, and eclectic. No two clients are the same so I work with each client to develop the best treatment goals that suit their needs.
I knew before college I wanted to be a counselor. I wanted to help others especially as they work through trauma and other mental health challenges and walking alongside them as they journey to a place of peace and healing. I want to help people feel hope and know that there is healing in the places and things that have hurt them or are challenging them.
