I practice a type of therapy called relational psychodynamic psychotherapy. I believe in this type of therapy as a way to make long-lasting, meaningful change in a way that feels authentic and true to you.
This method involves paying attention to thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and the places your mind wanders to help us better understand you. It also includes paying attention to what it is like for us to work together, as this can help us better understand what relationships are like for you outside of the therapy room.
I use collaboration and creativity to help you find a narrative that feels like your own. Specifically, I often focus on how people feel about themselves, how people feel in their relationships, and how people feel about being a person in the world. We may discover unknown strengths, and also parts of yourself that have been secretly working against you.
