Having support and guidance with life challenges can be empowering for healing and self growth! Many times we just need someone to listen as we talk through our life challenges. A good working relationship between a therapist and client begins with rapport and trust. With a Person Centered approach in our therapy sessions, I will utilize therapeutic interventions, such as CBT, TFCBT and expressive therapies so each session is individualized to the client. I completed my Phd coursework for Advanced Studies of Human Behavior in 2015 and I completed my master's degree of Community Counseling in 2009.
Through the therapeutic relationship, we will create attainable and achievable goals. I have over 15 years of experience providing therapy and clinical supervision. I have worked with children, teens, adults, couples, families; including those involved with DJJ, DSS, and experiencing family discord, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, & PTSD/trauma.
As a mother of a neurodivergent/autistic teen, I value the need for a safe space for clients to heal, no matter their situation. I am looking forward to assisting you achieve your goals!
