About
Is something keeping your peace? Do you struggle daily/weekly with anxiety and/or depression. Are you ready to move forward and be full of life? Often times we get stuck in our past or stuck in the negatives because it's comfortable and known. It's your choice to stay stuck or to take a chance and move forward. The unknown can be a very scary place but with positive coping skills, my support and encouragement, I can show you how to step back, reevaluate your scenario and prepare yourself to move forward.
I work with children & adults on anxiety, behavior, depression, PTSD & relationship issues, I specialize in childhood/adult sexual trauma. As well as the issues that spiral over the years because of the trauma; including anger, anxiety, guilt, depression, poor relationships, etc. I offer individual, group & family sessions.
I have been working in the counseling field since 1996 & opened a private practice in 2001. I use a variety of modalities with my clients such as CBT & DBT. I continue to invest in my clinical training and have been trained in EMDR & became EAGALA certified in 2011.
