Have you experienced the benefit of traditional talk therapy in the past, but are ready to go deeper into your healing? Many of my clients want to not just cope out of their triggers effectively, but also address the core wounds that are often the root of self-destructive behaviors, including addiction, codependency, dysfunctional relationships, and anxiety. These behaviors are often defenses in order to avoid feeling the hurt that happened long ago. I also love working with therapy 'newbies', who come in wanting to understand why they do what they do and have a better relationship with themselves and others!

I practice from an attachment lens, meaning I utilize a highly relational style in order to connect with my clients, creating a collaborative and safe space to explore, understand, and find what healing means for them. I love integrating traditional talk therapy with a variety of somatic modalities including SomEx, Brainspotting, and IFS.

I deeply value the healing potential of the client-therapist bond. I can be found both shedding a tear and belly-laughing with my clients. I believe in therapy and its benefits, as I have been on a healing / recovery journey of my own for over 20 years. Because of this, I see myself as a fellow traveler accompanying others on their path.

Therapy with me tends to have less structure and more room for spontaneity. That means each session I will ask "What needs attention today?" I find that even if a client does not exactly know where to start, through conversation something relating to the presenting issue tends to emerge. Once that happens, we will spend some time exploring this together.
