Therapy with me is not about quick fixes or surface-level insight. If you’re used to managing, coping, or talking your way through things, you may notice that I slow the process down and bring attention to what’s happening underneath that. We’ll look closely at how your mind works and the patterns you’re living inside of; especially the ones that show up when you feel uncomfortable, uncertain, or exposed in real-time. I pay attention to what happens in real time between us, not just what you report from your life outside of session. That means we’re not only talking about your external relationships, but also the one with self.
We’re also paying attention to how you relate to yourself, and how those same patterns show up in the room. At times, I’ll ask direct questions or point out something you might be avoiding. That’s intentional. The goal isn’t to push you, but to help you see yourself clearly enough that some that something begins to shift in how you think and show up in life.
