I became a therapist because I find true joy in connecting with others and supporting people through meaningful change. I believe therapy can be impactful and healing while still feeling down-to-earth and accessible. My style is warm and collaborative, and I see you as the expert of your own experience. Primarily using EMDR, I also integrate tools from DBT, CBT, ACT and somatic therapies to tailor our work together toward your self-defined goals.
I mainly provide EMDR therapy which I offer as a primary therapy or in conjunction with talk therapy you might be engaged in with your current therapist. Specializing in women's behavioral l health for over a decade, I treat complex trauma, birth trauma, and sexual trauma. I also specialize in treating trauma-related symptoms during the perinatal period.
As a practitioner, I have always been passionate about women’s behavioral health, however my diverse clinical experience and deep compassion equip me to support a wide range of concerns. I believe deeply in the power of the therapeutic relationship, the personal resilience of each client, and, that to really work, therapy needs to be authentic to you.
