It is a really hard time in our world to be a kid or teen right now. It's also a really challenging time to be a parent or caregiver trying to figure out how to best help and support your child/teen (and yourself also!). We have all taken a deep dive into the unknown as we are trying to piece together some semblance of a "normal" life and routine for our families. I continue to see kids, teens, and their grownups frequently struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, and isolation. Families are also struggling to manage day to day healthy relationships living under the same roof more now than ever before.
I help kids, teens, and their grownups express and explore what's coming up for them. From there we will learn skills and strategies to help the whole family. Maybe your child/teen is struggling with anxiety or worries, or anger and tantrums, or maybe your child/teen is shutting down and pulling away. No matter what, these can all feel really overwhelming.
My child/teen/parent clients come in looking for a safe space to take off the armor of life, and to find more effective ways to be in their lives and relationships that don't feel so hard or overwhelming.
