Stephanie has comprehensive experience of working with clients of all ages but has concentrated on working with children, adolescents, and young adults with a history of abuse and neglect. She has also supported families and couples that need assistance with co-parenting, blending families, and other communication or adjustment related issues. It is important to Stephanie to provide individual or family mental health resolutions that meet the specific needs of each client.
I believe that play is a way for children to communicate and that through directive and non-directive play children can work through many issues that they might be facing. I am also passionate about the successes found through EMDR used in all age groups. EMDR is an evidence based, highly researched therapeutic model used for many diagnosis.
