I work with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, abuse, neglect, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and more. I have specialized training in helping people recover from trauma. Trauma can significantly impact how people view the world and relate to others. I help people heal from their painful experiences so they are able to feel more safe and secure in the world now.
I take a Person-Centered approach to counseling. I believe you know yourself better than anyone else and ultimately know what is best for you. It would be my job to help you discover what that is. I would also like to help you recognize your strengths and build your confidence. Together, we can work towards you living with more meaning, fulfillment, and joy.
The first session will be all about me getting to know you! I'll learn about you, your needs and goals in therapy, and we will come up with a plan of how you would like to work together to meet your goals!
