You’re a human being worthy of kindness, compassion, and understanding of where you’ve been and what you’re going through. To me, what you’re feeling is totally valid and all behavior makes sense. However, sometimes what we’re doing isn’t working. It can feel exhausting trying to figure out what needs to change all on your own, especially if your thoughts seem loud and emotions feel big. Whether you’re a young adult feeling stuck in your depression or anxiety or adjusting to life transitions you don’t have to be overwhelmed by these stressors and you certainly don’t have to feel alone.
Working together from an evidence based approach (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), we’ll talk about things at your own pace and uncover your strengths and personal values to help us meet your goals. Together we’ll develop strategies to manage difficult thoughts and feelings and help you show up as the person you want to be in a life that matters to you.
I try to approach life with a perspective of curiosity and learning. I also value fun and creativity which has helped me in my own life to be more flexible when it comes to coping with the pains that life can bring. It’s normal to feel nervous so invite any feelings of discomfort along for the ride and reach out today with any questions.
