When we have something traumatic happen in our lives, we do not fully experience it because our bodies are primarily focusing on just enduring and surviving the trauma. Afterwards, we can find ourselves feeling elevated, experiencing repetitive negative thoughts, and just not feeling like ourselves. Whether you’ve experienced trauma, you're tired of revisiting painful memories over and over, or you've found that traditional talk therapy isn't bringing the same progress you once saw, I’m here to help by using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I am an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist and am licensed in Michigan and Illinois. I primarily focus on offering adjunct EMDR therapy on a weekly or biweekly basis. I also offer EMDR Intensives. I am excited to offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) through Michigan Advanced Psychiatry, in partnership with KindMind Counseling.
