Bringing over 12 years of experience as a therapist, I help clients heal and recover from adverse life events, traumatic incidents, or challenging life experiences and/or relationships. I strive to help people identify their strengths and areas of resiliency so they can achieve greater life satisfaction and experience renewed self-confidence to more effectively cope with life’s challenges. I provide clients education and resources to help them combat depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma/abuse, sleep difficulties, stressors, life adjustments, self esteem concerns, self harm or suicidal ideation, and substance abuse issues.
I am a trauma focused therapist, and I am certified in EMDR. I specialize in working with first responders. My experience includes co-facilitating CISM debriefs, working in a community mental health clinic, providing psychiatric evaluations in the hospital, offering risk and safety assessment, and providing therapy for individuals, couples and families.
