I am passionate about working with people who have experienced trauma as well as those who are neurodiverse. I have found that people who are ADHD, Autistic, or AuDHD can have more difficulty with processing their trauma due to coping mechanisms and masking. I strive to work with people to be able to validate their own experiences, find and believe the truth about themselves, and for them to live their lives authentically.
At this time, I am only working with people 18 and older.
I use a variety of approaches and am often eclectic. I am trained in CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I am gender confirming and have experience with trans and non binary folx. I am trauma informed and working to decolonize my practice as well.
I am hoping to help guide those who have lived their lives feeling like they never really "fit" or felt their trauma "wasn't big/bad enough".
