Are you struggling to find hope for the future? Are you feeling overwhelmed by your thought life or having ongoing challenges in your relationships? Whether it’s depression, trauma and PTSD, addiction, or other difficulties, life can take us down roads we may struggle to accept or not know how to overcome. We may try to avoid the issues but that only prolongs the misery. I'm here to tell you there is a way out. Through facing our stories with the help of someone who listens with grace, without criticism or condemnation, and with the skills to address the problem at hand, we can find the healing we are after.
Through an approach called Story Informed Trauma Therapy, I work with my clients to explore the hills and valleys that led them to where they are today. In the process, we begin to uncover the root of those unhelpful coping skills and false lessons that continue to get in the way, so that we can apply the best treatment for true and lasting healing.
