Announcement icon I am prepared to serve during the COVID-19 pandemic. Approved in-person and telehealth service options are available.
*Accepting Telehealth clients!* I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at The Briggs Institute, Inc. I am a graduate of Lipscomb University's Master's of Marriage and Family Therapy Program, and remain connected to the Lipscomb MFT core faculty, academia, and state-of-the-art scientific research. My approach to therapy is warm, down-to-Earth, directive when appropriate, and custom tailored to each client. Together we'll explore your inner experiences, identify your potential for healing and/or growth, and change the ways of thinking or being that have kept you from experiencing personal and relational health and fulfillment.
My areas of special clinical interest include couple and family therapy, attachment, emotional/relational/sexual trauma, sex therapy, life transitions, spiritual/existential distress, identity development, self-worth issues, anxiety, depression, and process addiction. I practice evidenced-based treatment, informed by the latest research.
I believe that the quality of our relationships -- with self and with others -- determines whether we are surviving or thriving. I'm young enough to be relatable yet seasoned enough to have invaluable life experience that has helped to shape my confidence and effectiveness as a therapist. I am privileged to have the opportunity to work with you.
