I enjoy working with individuals and couples. My goal is to provide a warm, non-judgmental and inviting space to process and improve: relationships (familial, friendships, work or love), difficulty balancing obligations, challenges with stress or anxiety, self-esteem issues and/or depressive tendencies. I help people identify relational, thought and behavioral patterns that may have once been functional but are no longer helpful. My ideal client is looking for active therapy that has a practical application to help with immediate symptom relief while also looking at and changing lifelong patterns of behavior for longer term change.
My main area of interest is to help individuals and couples have more positive relationships with themselves and with others in their lives. I especially like working with other therapists and/or people who work in helping professions including teachers, because I am passionate about helping helpers connect to their own needs.
I want to help you change your life, and let go of patterns and ways of being that are no longer serving you. I use a variety of techniques and theories to customize a plan that will help you to your best advantage. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their issues and set appropriate goals towards living the life’s they want to live.
