Welcome! Do you feel negative self talk and worry has negatively impacted your sleep and overall wellbeing? We can work together to develop ways to adjust to or overcome stressors in your life. I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for you to feel comfortable exploring and implementing growth, coping skills, and emotional regulation. I work with each client collaboratively to address issues in a way that feels comfortable, whether it is focusing on problem solving for current life challenges, or it is further exploration and identification of deeper issues.
In treatment the focus is on mindfulness within therapy and grounding the self as a tool to regain presence. When we are present in our lives we are happier, healthy, and less stressed. I was trained in Psychodynamic Theory at Wayne State, which focuses on the unconscious mental forces that individuals are unaware of, but drive emotions and actions.
When we have an open mind and heart we can explore your needs, wants and goals! Vulnerability is courageous and the key to unlocking compassion for the self as well as those around you. You will find a safe space to sit in while you share your story with me.
