Women and families who are struggling with transitions and/or parenting have been the focal point of my career. I've been endorsed through the Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health as an Infant Mental Health Specialist and Reflective Supervisor.
I earned my Masters in Social Work in 1995, prior to fostering or having our own biological children. Throughout my career, I've been passionate about helping children and their families. There are significant benefits in providing counseling support during home visits, yet I also appreciate the flexibility and convenience of virtual therapy.
I'm strength based and reflective in my approach. I've been on the both the receiving end of services and as a provider of services and appreciate a collaborative and wholistic approach to issues that are brought to the therapeutic relationship.
