You are looking for a therapist because you want something in your life to change. It might be anxiety, or sadness; lethargy or loneliness; dysfunctional patterns of work or relationship; low self-esteem, conflict over sexual identity or decisions about parenting.
I work in an interactive style to deepen self-understanding; resolve conflicts, heal traumas and turn around dysfunctional patterns.
I am eclectic in approach, trained psychoanalytically and in gestalt. I also have an avid interest in theater and the arts and believe they have much to teach us about our own behavior and the interpretation of our dreams.
I have a general adult practice and have also specialized at times with: artists, actors, dancers, adult children of alcoholic families, adoptees and parents, LGBT, and people suffering from Post Traumatic Stress. I also work with couples and groups. I do offer SLIDING SCALE fees but I can only accept OUT OF NETWORK insurance (PPOs).
