Hi, I'm Stephanie. I'm a licensed clinical psychologist in CA, CT, FL, GA, MA, NJ, and NY. I'm on the board of the International Bipolar Foundation and an adjunct assistant professor at the Emory School of Medicine where I stay involved in research and advocacy. As a therapist, I strive to provide a warm and safe space where patients can feel comfortable sharing without fear of judgment. My goal is to help my patients reflect on their values so that they can work towards what it means to be their "best self." I will always focus on treating the symptoms and not the "disorder," in an effort to tailor my approach to the individual.
My patients would describe me as compassionate, nonjudgmental, and earnest. I am well-versed in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship challenges, and a variety of other concerns. I also specialize in trauma-based therapies, with extensive experience treating survivors of intimate partner, sexual, and domestic violence.
I regularly publish on trauma and bipolar disorder, so these are areas of particular speciality. I have been interviewed on a variety of topics (e.g. relationship advice, healthy habits) by news outlets including Seventeen, Vice, Business Insider, Popsugar, and Healthline, At this time, I offer individual, couples, and family therapy.
