About
I believe that healing is based in connection. Mental health problems, physical health problems, and life stressors can all create a sense of disconnect from self, others, and the world. My goal is to connect with my clients where and how they are and to help them build the connections they need to reach their goals. Connection helps build courage to make change. To that end, I do my best to be authentic and transparent, and I focus on collaboration. I ask of my clients that they be as honest as possible with me and be open to that connection.
I have training and experience in both counseling and theology, and I explore both psychological and spiritual issues with clients. Over my years in the field, I have worked with people with various mental health and personal problems. I have particular passion for those dealing with depression and trauma.
I believe in focusing on client strengths while acknowledging and validating their struggles. Change is possible. I am honored by the opportunity I have to walk with my clients on their journeys, and I enjoy learning and growing with my clients. I look forward to learning and growing with you.
