I believe that healing is based in connection. Your life experiences may have disconnected you from yourself for many reasons: depression, anxiety, trauma... My goal is to connect with you where and how you are and to help you build the connections you need to reach your goals. Most importantly, I want to help you connect with and trust yourself. Connection helps build courage to make change. To that end, I do my best to be authentic and transparent, and I focus on collaboration. I ask you to be as honest as possible with me and to be open to that connection. You are my most valuable expert.
I have training and experience in both counseling and theology, and I explore both psychological and spiritual issues with clients. While I have experience working with many struggles, I have particular passion for those dealing with depression and trauma. My favorite therapy model is IFS, and I am excited to continue learning and growing in that modality.
I believe in focusing on your strengths while acknowledging and validating your struggles. Change is possible. I am honored by the opportunity I have to walk with my clients on their journeys, and I enjoy learning and growing with my clients. I look forward to learning and growing with you.

Hope After Trauma

This is a diverse virtual group for those identifying as female who have experienced trauma. The group is focused on how to cope today with previous trauma. We use elements of IFS, mindfulness, and interpersonal strategies. We meet on alternate Fridays from 9-10:30. We focus on such topics as boundaries, relationships, trust of self and others, managing symptoms (anxiety, depression, flashbacks, nightmares, etc.), communication, and self-advocacy. We do not compare pain. Everyone needs a place to feel safe and understood, and we try to make this group just such a place. Contact me if you are interested!
