I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience counseling individuals, couples, and families. My approach is strength-based and psychodynamic. I use cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness when appropriate. I work with those facing a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship/marital problems, divorce, fertility issues, postpartum depression, substance abuse, smoking cessation, concerns in the workplace and grief/bereavement. I have extensive experience and interest in working with couples and those with relationships struggles.
I work with clients to create a safe space to explore their history and gain insight in areas where they feel challenged. I believe the working relationship that develops between the client and therapist is an extremely important part of the therapeutic process and the treatment outcome.
