I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I believe that every person, no matter the age, is capable learning new ways to express their emotions, navigate life's struggles, and work toward goals to live the best life possible. With over 10 years in the counseling field, I have learned that individuals and families who choose to include me in their journey will be willing to use creativity, personal strength, dedication and partnership as we create a wellness plan, establish new routines and celebrate accomplishments.
I believe that the foundation of effective treatment is the ability for a client and a counselor to connect. I bring authenticity into each session, making sure I not only understand what brings you in, but also, who you are. Whether a small child, an opinionated teen, or a struggling parent, I will lead with your strengths, and respect your individuality.
We all have a strong desire to feel heard and been seen. Often times, we struggle to find ways to help those around us understand what we need and how we feel. Children may act out, parents may yell, and teens may withdraw. It is never too early, or too late, to learn healthy and effective ways to explore and communicate. I'm happy to help!
